Introducing the Contentos AI Roadmap — Building a Decentralized Content Ecosystem Powered by AI

In 2023 we’re looking forward to the development of our Web 3.0 content creation ecosystem powered by AI.

OpenAI’s ChatGPT clearly demonstrated to us the great potential of AI applications, and we believe the co-development of AI and blockchain technologies will enhance the relationship between creators and consumers while providing an improved user experience.

Creating and consuming content has always been central to human life after safety and comfort. Historically, content creation and consumption were restricted by time and space, but with the advent of Web 2.0 platforms, creators were able to share high quality audio-visual content with the world, while audiences were able to access an array of rich entertainment online.

As users spend more time in the online world, digital identity autonomy has received significant attention. Blockchain technology has driven the development of decentralized content platforms, with COS.TV being one of the pioneers in this field. Nevertheless, building decentralized applications poses significant challenges in terms of security, convenience, on-chain operating costs, and computing logic. Therefore, users accustomed to the centralized services of Web 2.0 may struggle to adopt Web 3.0.

Based on the experience gained from prominent international Web 2.0 companies, the Contentos team has successfully incubated COS.TV as a video platform with blockchain wallet management tools, serving over one million creators and content communities monthly. With more creators and video content, our advertising and fan engagement models have evolved from those of Web 2.0, raising crucial questions:

How can we help creators carry out their work more efficiently?
How can we help viewers find content that interests them the most?

OpenAI’s ChatGPT and the prospect of artificial general intelligence (AGI) offer an opportunity to address these long-term pain points and significantly improve the user experience of Web 3.0.

Creator Side

On the creator’s side, many professional AI creation tools can simplify the content production process by providing scene filters, fully simulated Avatar, video clips, language recognition to generate subtitles, etc. Nonetheless, most AI creation tools still have a learning curve and limits on use, and mainstream centralized platforms have yet to provide traffic support for AI-generated videos. Therefore, there is a need for a one-stop AI creation platform for all creators, enabling them to choose the most suitable AI creation tool, streamline the creation-to-release process, reach their target audience through AI computing, and interact with other AI enthusiasts, thereby making high-quality video creation more efficient.

Audience

Regarding the audience, a centralized platform’s content recommendation algorithm controls everyone’s content discovery abilities. The emergence of a new generation of AI will redefine the content search and recommendation mechanism, including the display of relevant advertisements. This will grant users more autonomy in receiving content and advertising information, giving them more opportunities to access high-quality content that piques their interest.

In this new era of AI-driven development, Contentos has spearheaded a series of COS.TV AI development projects, integrating diversified AI content production and recommendation tools, enabling global content creators and viewers to explore the infinite possibilities of AI creation. Concurrently, the ongoing construction of COS.SPACE Metaverse will allow creators to interact deeply with their fans, develop more monetization methods, and encourage the production of more high-quality content. A use case for COS.SPACE Metaverse is the exclusive EXPO held by the TIENTHUATTOAN community, a popular KOL community in Vietnam that organized the EXPO in March to highlight their community’s achievements and future plans and received significant attention. • Sky Eyes Engine: COS.TV AI content recognition engine capable of identifying tagged content and analyzing videos with similar capabilities as ChatGPT V5. It will introduce an AI analysis content quality scoring mechanism and adjust the Contentos content reward model providing more optimized VEST rewards and fighting against fake content more effectively.
